Geotechnical Sales Executive (UK)

Oasys are looking for an enthusiastic, presentable and technically capable individual to sell our geotechnical engineering software. The role is London based although it may be possible for the person operate from another regional Arup office. It will involve:

  1. Active promotion, demonstration, and selling our Geotechnical software
  2. Promote and coordinate training courses for all the Oasys software, for both internal and external clients
  3. Take part in delivery of training courses in the Oasys geotechnical products
  4. Through contacts within and external to Arup offices, assemble and create case-studies for publication on the Oasys web site and external journals
  5. Assemble and create relevant content for our quarterly newsletter
  6. Responsible for the wording and technical content on the geotechnical parts of the Oasys web sites
  7. Provide some first-line technical support by responding to all geotechnical enquiries whether for support, sales, training or otherwise.

Much of the role requires the individual to visit both internal and external customers throughout the UK and to demonstrate software over the Internet.

The post offers opportunities to become involved in various aspects of Oasys' work, including training, development planning, documentation, software design, and marketing, subject to the interests and abilities of the post-holder.

Occasional visits to customers or Arup offices in Europe, the USA, Australia and Asia is likely although the role does not require frequent overseas travel.

The successful applicant will have current knowledge of the construction industry and be a competent user of MS Windows, MS Office and Oasys Geotechnical software; although Oasys will provide training for the latter.
